Step 1: Write

Wherever you get your best writing done, write there.

Some writers like writing in a Google doc. Others love the Typeshare interface. Some people like writing on Medium, or Quora, or LinkedIn, etc. The reality is, it really doesn’t matter where you get the words down — so long as you get them down somewhere. Because you can always copy/paste across multiple platforms.

Step 2: Pick 1 primary platform to publish on.

In Ship 30 for 30, we use Twitter as the primary publishing platform, primarily because Twitter has an amazing distribution flywheel and it’s very easy to get your content in front of a lot of eyeballs there (especially in a community of 300+ writers).
